Peggy holds an LLB from the University of Sheffield and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law, which she completed with Distinction.
She completed the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law in October 2021, achieving a grade of Very Competent, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in May 2022. Peggy subsequently qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2024.
Peggy’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, advising individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses on a broad range of commercial matters. Her work includes commercial agreements, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and ownership arrangements, business transactions, employment matters and general commercial advisory work.
Peggy also undertakes commercial litigation and dispute resolution work, assisting clients with contentious commercial and civil matters. Her bar training and experience enable her to approach disputes with a strong understanding of case strategy, advocacy considerations and practical commercial issues.
In addition, Peggy has extensive experience in business immigration matters, including sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker sponsorship, sponsor compliance, Innovator Founder visas, Global Talent visas and other general immigration matters. She also assists overseas corporations, with establishing a presence in the UK, including setting up UK branches and advising on related immigration and corporate considerations.
Peggy speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Hokkien, and has working proficiency in Malay.
