Lisa’s Law recently celebrated our most eagerly anticipated event of the year, the Lisa’s Law Christmas Party!
This year’s Christmas party was held at DoubleTree by Hilton Tower Hill in central London . From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the festive atmosphere was palpable.
That evening, we had a private room at the hotel . Colleagues changed out of their usual work clothes, and suits, dresses, sequins, and smiles all came together.
Amidst relaxed conversation and clinking glasses, we enjoyed a classic three-course Christmas dinner . From appetizers to main courses and dessert, each course was brimming with festive flavour.
Delicious food, red wine, and laughter made for a particularly pleasant evening.
One of the most anticipated parts of the party was undoubtedly the Sherlock Holmes murder mystery game. Each colleague had their own unique role, clues, and backstory. Some were tense, some were logically astute, and some even gave a “showcase of acting skills.” We needed to use communication, reasoning, and observation to find the real killer .
The whole process was full of twists, laughs, and gasps. As it turns out, lawyers are not only skilled in legal analysis, but their crime-solving abilities are also not to be underestimated!
In a joyful atmosphere, our Managing Director, Chuanli Ding, also delivered a speech. He thanked everyone for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism over the past year, and also expressed gratitude for the support and trust within the team.
The night was far from over after the banquet. Glasses were raised again, and the casino gaming tables were brought out.
This night was more than just a Christmas party. It was a celebration of a year’s hard work, a testament to team cohesion, and a precious moment for staff to bond, relax, and spend time together.
Thank you to every colleague who participated in the event, making this evening filled with laughter and warmth. A heartfelt thank you also to our social committee for taking the time to find the perfect venue. This isn’t always easy for a company with over 70 people that has and continues to grow. Furthermore, thank you to the staff who hosted us at all the social events.
